Diakoniewissenschaft und Diakoniemanagement an der Kirchlichen Hochschule Wupper

The Institute for Diaconic Science and Diaconic Management (IDM), Protestant University Wuppertal/Bethel stands for an innovation in teaching and research that intends to shape academic challenges of interdisciplinarity, normativity and theory-practise-relations. The volume documents scientific approaches, tensions and first results of research. Authors are theologians, economists, CEOs from big diaconic corporations as well as students who all dispose of several years leadership experience. Documented is the discussion going beyond academic frontiers by representative contributions of lecturers, students of the Program for Diaconic Science, summaries of doctoral dissertations as well as study programs of the national MA, the international MA and the PhD.
